Courtney Langello, M.S. CCC-SLP

Welcome to Prestige Therapy. My name is Courtney Langello. I am the clinical director and owner of Prestige Therapy, LLC.  I earned a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University in 2003. I am a certified American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) member and hold dual certification through the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Massachusetts Department of Health. I also hold a Rhode Island teaching certificate specifically for speech-language pathology. I continue to maintain licensure and certification through continuing education courses and regular attendance of ASHA conventions.

Over the years, I have worked in several settings with a variety of age ranges  (infants-geriatrics) including private schools, public schools, trauma centers, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and home therapy.

I have attended the following conferences in Michelle Garcia Winner's  Social Thinking® methodolgy:

  • Thinking About You Thinking About Me

  • Implementing Social Thinking Concepts and Vocabulary: A Day To Develop Creativity

  • Social Detective, Superflex®, and Friends Take On Social Emotional Learning

Other unique workshops and trainings I have attended include:

PROMPT®  Level 1 (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets)

PECS Basic Training (Picture Exchange Communication System)

LAMP(Language Aquisition through Motor Planning).

Talk Tools® A Three Part Treatment Plan For Oral Placement Therapy

I opened Prestige Therapy, LLC in 2015 to allow children and young adults the ability to further their speech-langauge and social skills in a private setting enabling each client the opportunity to enhance learned skills as well as to target areas in which the client may not qualify for in the educational setting.

When away from my clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children ages 19, 10 and 4.  I have personal experience parenting a child on the Autism spectrum as well as parenting a child with a severe phonological disorder.

I am eager to meet with you to discuss how to enhance your child's speech-language and social skills!
